I need to keep writing..

Let's start with this. I started blogging to help heal the pain of my breakup of five years.

I gave up blogging because I had found happiness in keeping busy and hanging out with new friends. This obviously came to a screeching hault. I honestly was doing so good. Now, Steven has told me he's basically had a girlfriend since we broke up. I've all of a sudden lost everything I have built up. While away, I took up sewing, started to start my own online business, enrolled Kailey is cheerleading, became a girl scout leader, and enrolled in school. This Saturday, when he told me I stopped what I was doing and haven't started again. I want to mope. I want to do nothing. I even wanted to try to channel the pain physically to see if it would not hurt so much inside.

I'm smarter than that. I'm more grateful for my children to do something like that. So, I recognized the cry for help my mind, body, and heart were giving me. I scheduled an appointment to see a doctor to help me with the struggles and pain. I'm sitting here thinking t myself: How will any kind of medication help? It won't take away the pain. It won't make me forget the last five years. But then, I remember that writing has always helped me channel anger, frustration, and pain.  So, on top of seeing a professional I'd like to start blogging again. So here I am back into action. Just me, my kids, and my blog. :)

Off to the museum..

So, I really didn't want to go. I just woke up feeling like moping around all day. But, I got up we ran around, picked up Bradley, and went to the new Dinosaur Museum. It was really cute! It was a little small, but I liked it. There was so much to do there! I wrote a review online, so you can go here if you want to read about it! Here are some pictures though...

Kailey's Last Day of School

So, yesterday was Kailey's last day of school. She is officially a second grader! This year was a great year. We had some struggles with teachers and home life, but she made it! A Mother and her son..

I've never really understood why a mother would be as protective of her son like she is to her daughter. But I have found the answer!

Today, he found the tool box, he pulls out the tools, gets to an outlet, and says "Look Mama I'm fixing your house!" How cute is he!! But, I quickly respond, "Thanks little lovee but you're going to get hurt don't play with that!" So he stops and moves on... at this point I'm not paying attention while trying to apply for another job. "Look Mama, I brought you flowers!" What?!?!?!? AWE!!!! lol it was the tools in an Easter Egg shaped cup! At this point I've realized that my little boy is going to grow up one day and be an amazing husband and father. He's going to be the man that his dad could not live up to. For this reason alone I don't want my son with just anyone, she needs to be an amazing girl to have him. I have finally found the same protection guard for my Bradley that I have had for my Kailey Bugg for years.

My little Bradley and my beautiful flowers..:)

Turtle Cupcakes

I would just like to state before rambling that I am a terrible baker when it comes to cooking from scratch. It doesn't matter that I follow the directions, anything from scratch comes out God awful! lol So, when I saw a recipe on FoodBuzz.com for Turtle Cupcakes, I fell in LOVE with the idea, but the fact that the recipe was from scratch just tore me down.. I sat here thinking, you can do it! Really, no I can't. So I did what any mom would do and made box cupcakes! I stuck the turtle in the middle once done and poured on the chocolate and caramel syrup onto the cupcake and icing. mmmmmm.... these cupcakes were AMAZING!!!! Here's some pics of my delicious cupcakes whether I cheated or not!

Before icing, but after I stuck the candy in :)

and after all the good fattening stuff was added!
